Hello Spring! A Digital Experiment

I haven't posted lately because I've been feverishly playing with my new Wacom tablet. Wow, is it exciting! As an avowed Luddite (I still don't own a cell phone) I am surprised by just how much I'm loving digital art making. I owe a huge debt of gratitude for this to Will Terry, whose online tutorial I can't recommend enough. I learned about Will's tutorial from fellow PBAAer Marion Eldridge (Thanks, Marion!) and I like it so much, I also purchased his general tutorial on Illustrating Children's Books. I'm almost halfway through that one, and it's enormously helpful. Onward!

  1. Hi Janet, The illo looks just darling. I love the wacom as well and wondered how I managed without it before. It is great fun. Your picture leaves me wanting spring even more.

  2. Really really nice Janet! Fantastic! I am sooo not there yet, coloring in color on my cintiq. Which wacom do you have again? The coloring is really accomplished on digital, but the illo is just so cute to start with: totally LOVE the frog with the frog boots staring at eachother! :D It feels so nice and springy!
